Achieving Inventory
Record Integrity
This course helps
team groups to fully understand what is required to achieve accurate
inventory records. This workshop describes how MRP II and Lean Manufacturing
both depend on accurate inventory records. An 8-step methodology for
achieving accurate inventory records is presented such that the
attendees will be able to quickly develop their own action plan specific
to their own company and know how to implement the plan as soon as the
workshop is over. Each participant will gain a clear understanding of exactly
how and when to implement a cycle counting program and how to insure you
get your money’s worth from the effort.

Sales and Operations Planning
The Sales and Operation Planning course teaches a management
team a formal process of balancing supply and demand on a monthly basis
to insure the appropriate operating resources are in place to take
advantage of the “best” marketplace opportunities. The course provides the method
to successfully implement an integrated management process that gives
the general manager and his or her team a practical and effective way to
improve control of the entire business.
Converting the Sales and Operations Planning process from an
informal to a formal way of managing, provides immediate and tangible
financial benefits. It
makes the source of excess inventory, out-of-balance capacity, long
customer lead times, lack of flexibility and excess costs more visible. It provides an excellent forum
to pull together all departments and allow them to arrive at a one
cohesive game plan for everyone in the company to follow.
